Anne Dirk Loonstra – Product Support Engineer
PUSH LIMITS
Sometimes you walk into a place and immediately feel like it fits. That’s what happened with me and Aeronamic. My first introduction was through Young Professionals Almelo, where I was given a tour and was immediately impressed by the processes, technology and people. The dynamics within Aeronamic – working with different departments, moving between levels within the company and the variety in my position – appealed to me a lot.
With a background in industrial product design, I have always been fascinated by how things work. From a young age, I took products apart to study them and, if possible, put them back together again. This curiosity has led me to previous positions at Tecnotion as a process engineer, where I supervised production lines for linear electric motors in the semiconductor industry, and at other employers where I was involved in the assembly of systems.
At Aeronamic, I have the opportunity to apply and develop my experience in production processes and systems integration in a high-tech environment. No two days are the same, which keeps it challenging and interesting.
Outside of work, I am always busy with my passions: making music (harmony), going to concerts (punk/metal), tinkering with old cars and riding motorcycles. I also see this mix of technology, creativity and passion in my work – which makes it the perfect place for me!
