To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer who enjoys taking responsibility for complex, multidisciplinary development projects and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.


ACTIVITIES

Your challenge

You will lead the development project for advanced electric compressor systems, from concept through certification and production readiness.

Working closely with the General Manager, VP Product Development, Director Operations, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will translate innovative ideas into certified aviation products.

One of your first assignments will be to lead the prestigious TePS program, part of the Aviation in Transition initiative funded by the Dutch National Growth Fund. Within this program, Aeronamic leads an international consortium developing technologies for the aircraft of tomorrow.

This is a highly visible position with significant technical and strategic influence.

What will you do?

  • Lead multidisciplinary product development programs
  • Be responsible for Systems Engineering activities, from requirements definition through validation
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing disciplines
  • Manage technical risks, schedules, and project execution
  • Act as the technical link to customers, consortium partners, and certification authorities
  • Drive products toward certification and industrialization
  • Help further build a rapidly growing high-tech organization

  • Salary: € 4,200 – € 5,700 based on a work week of 40 hours (depending on experience and education)

YOU BRING

You are an experienced Systems Engineer who combines technical excellence with leadership.

You bring the following:

  • An MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience within aerospace or another highly regulated high-tech industry
  • Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary product development programs
  • Strong expertise in Systems Engineering
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and hands-on mindset
  • Excellent command of the English language

Experience with aircraft electrification, thermal management, power electronics, or high-speed rotating machinery is considered a strong advantage.

The first interview will be with Ronald (Teamleader Electric Drives) and a colleague from the HR department.

Walk-in day

During a second interview, a morning or afternoon will be scheduled for you to join the team. You will meet colleagues, see the work and get a taste of the atmosphere.
