Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to you and your personal data collected by Aeronamic Holding B.V. (registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Enschede under no. 08136884) or any of its subsidiaries (“Aeronamic” “we” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how Aeronamic uses the information (“Personal Data”) that it collects and processes from, the purpose and the legal basis on which Aeronamic processes Personal Data. Aeronamic is committed to maintaining your privacy.

1. Categories of Personal Data

We may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, and postal address. The information that we collect will be used to contact of identify you. It is possible that you submit other personal data to Aeronamic, for example in a question you ask Aeronamic through the contact page.

2. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

3. Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that his commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on our computer’s hard drive. Our website uses these “cookies” to collect information and to improve our website. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. 4. Purpose and legal basis

We will use your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To answer your questions: If you have submitted a question to us or have otherwise asked us to get into contact with you, we will use the personal data provided by you to handle your request. It is in our legitimate business interest to provide you with the best services;
  • To send you marketing messages: if you have consented to receive such messages, we will use your Personal Data to send you direct marketing messages;

5. Who has access to your Personal Data?

The Personal Data are processed exclusively by authorized employees of Aeronamic and/or by external companies:

  • Our employees may have access to the Personal Data. In such a case, access will be granted only if necessary for the purposes described above and only if the employee is bound by an obligation of confidentiality;
  • We may share your Personal Data with an entity of Aeronamic if this is necessary for the handling of your request;
  • We may share your Personal Data with third parties acting on our behalf. These third parties include service providers. In such cases, these third parties may only use your Personal Data for the purposes described above and only in accordance with our instructions;
  • We may share your Personal Data if required to do so by law or court order, for example with law enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies.

6. How long will Aeronamic keep your Personal Data?

Your Personal Data is retained no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which Aeronamic collects and uses them. In principle, Aeronamic retains your Personal Data which you submit when submitting a request, until two years after your request is handled. After the retention period your personal data will be deleted unless the retention of Personal Data is necessary to meet legal requirements that apply to us.

7. What measures does Aeronamic take to protect your Personal Data?

Aeronamic has taken appropriate technical, and organizational (security) measures to protect the Personal Data it processes against accidental or unlawful processing, such as unauthorized access, disclosure, damage or loss of personal data.

8. Does Aeronamic transfer your Personal Data to a country outside the EU

In the context of the handling of your request, it may also be necessary for Personal Data to be transferred to third parties outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). For example, Personal Data can be transferred to group companies located outside the EEA, if Aeronamic uses services from third parties outside the EEA, such as the hosting services of our websites, or if Aeronamic is obliged to provide its information to foreign authorities. It is possible that the regulations of the countries the third parties are located in provide a different level of (legal) data protection as in the EEA. Aeronamic will take the measures based on applicable law that are necessary to ensure the lawful transfer of your Personal Data. In most cases, such a transfer will be governed by a contract based on the standard contractual clauses for data transfer, approved by the European Commission (European Model Clauses). 9. Children’s privacy

Our website does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

10. What rights can you exercise in relation to your Personal Data?

If you have any questions related to this Privacy Policy, please contact us via communications@aeronamic.com. Through these contact details you can also request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. If you are not satisfied with the way we use your personal data, you can make a complaint with us through the contact details below and/or with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (in Dutch: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page of the website. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
