Back in 1995, I was really pleased to be offered a job at Aeronamic, because working in the Aerospace industry was a great opportunity. During my study I got acquainted with innovative techniques like CAD/CAM, CNC machines and 3D measuring machines. These techniques were applied extensively at Aeronamic.
During the first years of my employment I was part of the production team where I got more experienced with several types of CNC milling machines, lathes, work centers and machining technology. My interest in information technology was sparked when I participated as a member (key user) of an implementation team of a new ERP system (SAP R3).
Packed with knowledge of the ERP system, the next logical step was supporting the production teams by managing the production planning and administrating the ERP system. Participation in the next migration to another ERP system (ISAH) in 2004 was the prologue to an awesome event: My first encounter with SQL and ASP.NET! This really took customizing to the next level.
Currently I do things like Software Development, IT security, IT management and Business Intelligence. A great combination where I can put my heart into. Aeronamic supports working with the latest software technologies HTML5, ASP.NET, Angular and several BI tools. The SCRUM software development method is used to create a continuous feedback loop (iterations) which results in a fast, agile, and reliable development. SCRUM ensures a tight alignment with the business processes. Examples of cutting edge running projects: MRO app development, KPI development, Data Exchange with customers, Cloud Research and IT Security compliance.
