Aeronamic is a forward-thinking, international technology company that develops innovative turbomachinery systems for the aerospace industry. Product development focuses, among other things, on lightweight, high-speed electric compressors. In addition to aerospace applications, this technology also offers opportunities for industrial and sustainable applications, such as the next generation of heat pumps that can contribute to the ambition of becoming CO₂-neutral by 2050. To support these developments, we are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer.

ACTIVITIES

Aeronamic is looking for a technically driven CAD Engineer who enjoys working on complex mechanical challenges within a high-tech and international aerospace environment. As a CAD Engineer at Aeronamic, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of electric turbomachinery and associated test rigs. You will translate designs into manufacturable components and ensure that technical requirements, manufacturability and testability come together. You will work closely with experienced engineers and specialists and have plenty of room to apply and further develop your technical expertise. This is a role for someone who is passionate about technology, precision and solving challenging design problems as part of a team.

With your expertise, you will be involved in activities including:

  • Actively participating in a team working on the development of complex compressor assemblies and associated test rigs;
  • Detailing components and developing them into manufacturing drawings;
  • Translating requirements into designs and ensuring testability;
  • Preparing assembly instructions (build book);
  • Supporting the procurement of components;
  • Supporting the assembly and build of hardware.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary of €5,000 – €6,500 gross per month based on a 40-hour working week, depending on experience and education;
  • Multiple bonuses per year, up to 10%;

YOU BRING

You bring the following:

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field;
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in aerospace or another highly regulated high-tech industry;
  • Demonstrable experience with CAD and developing complex mechanical designs;
  • Experience creating technical drawings in accordance with GD&T;
  • Experience designing and detailing complex mechanical equipment;
  • Good command of both Dutch and English.

Your profile will be strengthened if you have experience with:

  • Unigraphics NX;
  • Machining of components.

Furthermore, you are someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic about the development of electric turbomachinery and associated test rigs;
  • Enjoys solving complex design challenges together with a team of highly skilled specialists.
