ACTIVITIES

Imagine this: you’re working on components of the world’s most advanced fighter jet, right in the heart of a military airbase. Everything is well organized—flexible hours, a contribution toward your health insurance, a generous pension scheme, a mid-year and end-of-year bonus, and even a performance-related bonus.

On top of that, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team that values quality—and a good laugh from time to time. Here, you’ll contribute to the inspection and overhaul of gas turbines for F-35 fighter jets in the military aviation sector. With Aeronamic expanding its newest location in Woensdrecht, now is the perfect time to join and grow along with us.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

As a technician at this unique military site, no two days are the same. You’ll start your day—any time between 7:00 and 8:30 AM—with a coffee and a team stand-up. Together, you’ll go over the schedule and the status of current orders, and then get to work.

You’ll begin by inspecting and disassembling gas turbines. Based on your findings, you’ll perform necessary repairs or overhauls. Then, you’ll reassemble the system and test to ensure it functions flawlessly. Since you’ll be working on a critical system for the F-35, the quality standards are extremely high. That’s why all work is carried out with precision in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Currently, around 60 systems are maintained per year, with a goal to scale up to 200. You’ll receive thorough training, allowing you to eventually handle the entire process independently—from disassembly to final testing.

As an Revision- and Maintenance Technician at Aeronamic, You Will Also:
  • Work with technical documentation in English

  • Accurately log your work in the ERP system

  • Contribute ideas for improving the assembly process and work instructions
